FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
I have installed GF 780 Dragon Wrap on my car hood—can I wax it?
No, please do not use wax--it is not recommended with GF 780 Dragon Wrap as it will cause issues with the finish and texture.
What is the best way to care for my wrap film?
Dragon Wrap carbon fiber wrap film should be maintained to preserve long term appearance using standard aftercare products designed for textured exterior vinyl surfaces. A commercially available protectant such as Armor All or 303 Aerospace Protectant is recommended.
Are there any other typical applications for this product?
Common uses are Automotive Accent Restyling and Automotive Wraps as applied by experienced installers. Other applications include Architectural Signage, Interior and Exterior Displays. These films are intended for flat to moderately curved surfaces. Heat setting the film and edges is always recommended. If printing, these films must be tested before production.
What is the expected exterior lifetime of these products?
GF 780 is designed to last outdoors for up to 5 years under normal exposure conditions.
