GF 791 Deep Etch Cut & Craft is a 3.0 mil gloss polymeric deep glass etch vinyl coated with a permanent solvent acrylic pressure sensitive adhesive on a 78# clay-coated liner. This product is designed to give the frosted effect or an impression of etched, cut or sandblasted glass. GF 791 is designed for roll-fed plotter cut vinyl graphics as well as sheeted material for home craft applications.

What types of transfer tape should I use with GF 791?
In most instances a medium tack application tape should work, such as TransferRite® 6582. For multiple color alignments, we would recommend using a frosted matte tape such as TransferRite® 1510 or a clear tape such as TransferRite® Ultra® 1310 Clear.
I used some GF 791 Light Etch to apply cut letters to wine glasses; are the Cut & Craft products dishwasher safe?
It is recommended that dishware with decals be hand washed with mild soap and water. The vinyl and adhesive can be impacted by high heat and extended exposure to water and cleaners. However, the adhesive and vinyl have excellent resistance to humidity.
What is the expected exterior lifetime of these products?
GF 791 is a full polymeric film with a solvent acrylic adhesive designed to last outdoors for up to 7 years under normal exposure conditions. Applied indoors in a temperature controlled environment this film will last indefinitely.
